Course Description |
This course covers chapters 1 – 12 of the required textbook, which include: Probability; Probability Distributions: Normal and Binomial; Estimation; Hypothesis Testing; Regression; Contingency Table; and One-way Analysis of Variance. |

Calculator Requirement
|
You need to have a TI-83 graphing calculator. The calculator can be used for homework assignments, quizzes, and tests. The calculator costs about $90 - $100 or you can borrow it from the math department for $15 for one semester. If interested to borrow, please contact the mathematics department at (323) 265-8886. You need to return the calculator right after the final exam otherwise a hold will be placed on your account and you will be charged $200. |
